Hayame Exhaust ...
I've been looking at a Hayame Exhaust for awhile and have just about enough to grab it... My question is if/when I have it installed should I ask them to remove the resonator or should I leave it? Will the muffler itself give off a nice crisp deep sound with the resonator on?

remove the resonator, and if you have enough $$$ have the muffler shop make catback piping for your car. my piping cost around $70 plus install on the muffler which was about $30-35. 100% worth it

I got a Hayame XT2, being in Cali we're restricted from doing a lot, but it does have a good sound all its own. Going with a catback and even a aftermarket cat converters would give an added boost. Random Technology has some good applications, they should have universal applications for us Hyundais

I have a Heyame muffler on my Tibby. Before I had the piping done from the cat to it they thing purred so well. After that I got the custom 2 1/2 inch piping and boy did that even make it better. The Heyame mufflers in my opinion our well worth the money spent.

i paid 225 for my hayame about 2 1/2 yrs ago, so it should be a lot cheaper now. Try your local tuning shop. The owner of the one I go to is korean so he loves my tibby. I actually get respect there and he hooks me up with deals all the time when I go buy parts for my friends cars

The Hayame I was looking at is gonna run about $190... not bad it's off the net.. plus tax and shipping $209... I have access to a lift and welding equipment so I'm gonna save some money doing the welding myself.
