I just installed my 4-1 header which is a ssautochrome and it is also black. You will have to install a second o2 bung but as long as it's like 6" from the flex tube you shouldn't get a check warning light. If you do get a check engine light just relocate the o2 bung behind the cat and it will be fine.

Ok, I am unsure about these headers now. They fit good, and work good. Only problem is, the "ceramic coating" is about 1/4 gone now. It has only been 7 days!

I noticed that there were a fair amount of questions about fitment and installing here. I maid an installation guide when I put mine in last week and posted it at the HA BB. Do you guys want me to post the guide on the Exhaust BB or DIY or something. Mine was a 4-2-1 on a 2001 with two cats.

I would say go for it...the more info. that can be found in one place the better.

In regards to the "paint" coming off, he sent me an email stating this happens because of the heat. That answers my question as to what exactly the coating is. Do not get these if you are expecting real ceramic coating. What would you guys suggest I do to make these look good? Would header tape look allright?

I'd email Ebay about fradulent info on his ad.

Personally, I'd wait till it all comes off and have an appointment made to get it correctly done.

I left a feedback. I am sure this is the high temp paint you can get from Auto Zone that has ceramic in it. That must be how he can get away with it.
