Oh, so they were a recent purchase. These are actually 4-1 headers, not 4-2-1 so hopefully they fit better since they are something different. I was going to do them myself, but I may just bring it in somewhere tomorrow to get it done. I need a cat back done as well, so why not get it all done. Right? wink1.gif

IMO- yes! I did it at the same time. I figured since they had to take the exhaust system basically apart anyway.. So why not add to the job since they were down there? Plus, since my car is my only transportation, I wanted the work warrantied, so if they screwed it up, they'd have to fix it for nuttin! :-) So yes, a good idea. Hope you like it-- I'm still trying to get used to the volume of sound emitting from my exhaust! (radio up loud during driving, then volume turned down at lights during idle-- hysterical!)

Ok, it's done. This thing is freaking loud! I need to get used to it. I will take some pictures tomorrow and write up a short review.

Yeah? Very cool... Have you had a chance to play with it yet? Did you notice any performance gains?
I was told with the headers alone it's loud, but with both the headers and cat back installed, well, you tell them to limit the sound it's still thundering. *LOL* Time will tell or you'll go back in there and opt for a less volume induced (without hindering performance, of course) exhaust!! But.... Somehow I don't see that happening. ;-)

How was the initial fit of the headers?

As far as I was told it was a direct bolt on. The mechanic said there were no problems installing it, other than needing to relocate the cat.

You could do what I am... my 4 to 1 headers from SSauto are going to get ceramic coated next week.. that should keep the heat and the noise down.

The ones I got claim to be ceramic coated. I think it is actually the ceramic based paint that you can buy though. Pictures to come, sorry I haven't posted a review yet. This week has been busy for me.
