Flywheel Suggestions?

I'm pretty rough on my clutch/flywheel. I think it's warped. I keep slipping it to get more torque. I need a flywheel that can keep up to my demands. I need a better flywheel. Any suggestions as to a resilliant flywheel? I'm looking to spend about $100-$200

I think you can get the chromoly one for about that. Otherwise budget a little more for the Fidanza. Thats about it in our flywheel options.

That chromoly looks like the stocker. What's the difference?

I've heard nothing but good things about XTD, but these are people who change their clutch on the weekends for fun. Will it last? I'm looking for something that I can beat the hell out of for at least 60-80,000 miles.

I havn't heard anything about it. I know some do not like clutchmasters, but this can't be bad. Look at all of the cooling area. Flywheels dont shatter do they?

Any other suggestions? I'm going to lay down some money for it this weekend. I don't want it to be a bad buy. Please give me some good suggestions.

Helz yeah clutches shatter! A guy at my work had a car totalled. Dodge stealth "just driving along" on the highway and "BAM!" ::STOP!::

Cracks worked their way all the way across the flywheel and sent chunks out at engine speed. Like 7lbs chunks of steel. Killed:
Flywheel (duh)
Clutch
Pressure plate
Bellhousing/Trans
Side of engine
Radiator
Wiring harness

And that was all she wrote for that car.

I will haunt you if you get an aluminium flywheel. The honda-tech people have had luck with the ebay special steel flywheels (like f1).

Thanks dddude55, yes I meant flywheels.

He brought in the biggest chunk of flywheel and it was bigger than my palm.

That's one lucky driver. If that piece of steel had headed for the firewall he'd have been in bad shape.

Why dat? I've had a Jim Wolf aluminum flywheel in my Z for over a year and no problems.

What is involved in this haunting? What's wrong with aluminum? It dissipates heat quickly right?
