i'm in the middle of changing my flywheel, and clutch, i have a chromoly flywheel and i noticed when i was trying to put it on that the flywheel bolts only screw in about 3-4 threads on the new flywheel and about 5-6 on the only flywheel...did anyone have to get new bolts? did anyone even have this problem? .....
Alright nevermind everyone, i have a second motor and trans in my shed and i took the flywheel bolts out of that 1.8l motor and the bolts are longer lmao.gif ....not sure why or how, but i've find my problem....but just so you all know the bolts that i had were too short, the bolts out of the second motor were 5 threads Longer....ok AMIN LOCK THIS THREAD, Thanks

Yeah, we don't lock threads just because the problem is solved. Only if they are closed and done sales or if something gets out of hand.
BTW, who's AMIN?

Are you sure you have the right flywheel, there are two differant ones, one is 35mm and the other is 41mm, if you use the 35mm on the 41mm crank it won't fit but if you use the 41mm on the 35mm crank you have to be sure to use the spacer that hyundai makes to adapt it, it will bolt on but without the adapter it will not center properly on the crankshaft and could cause some major problems.
