Default Feasibility?

So check it out, I've been hangin around since the middle of the Fxtreme days before any of this FATF BS.

I'm in trade school for Auto Tech as we speak and work for O'Reilly's so everyday of my life is ensconced in cars and autoparts.

I think I've finally figured out what all I'm going to be doing to my 1.8l Tib and would like to run some ideas by some of the senior members.

The Plan
CAI
61mm BBTB port matched to a
Alpine/Capa Supercharger w/2mm smaller pulley (7-9 psi)
N20 direct port, computer controled 100 shot (4-25shot pills)
Beta II Head w/ head spacer possibly dbl. gasket
NGK Iridium spark plugs
Endyn low compression pistons
Crower connecting rods
2.0l crank
oil cooler(if necessary)
4-2-1 Ceramic coated header
hi flow catyalitic converter
2.5" exhaust

Walbro Turbo fuel pump
440cc INjectors (bigger if need be)
S-AFC or Haltech (which one's better?)

stronger CV axles
Kaaz lsd (ill go ahead and flip that pinior gear or whatever)
Clutchmasters STage 2 (3?) clutch

Am I missing anything...engine wise at least. Sound feasible?

Any guestimates on HP? I was looking for around 200+hp up to 300+ with the N20.

Between working on it myself and having Prottech a stones throw away it doesnt sound impossible.

Keep studying.... Haltech is better

Full managment is always better than bandaid fixes, also Superchargers are not good on a tibby, they dont produce good gains, do a turbo instead

Damien:

I'll be nice here, and just poing out the glaring holes here.

Go with the CAPA supercharger. The Alpine unit has yet to produce more than about 180 WHP.

Computer controled nitrous? Whose?
Pills?????

No need to go to the Beta2 head.
No need for the head-gasket spacer or double gaskets if you get new pistions.

Go with NGK Copper V-power plugs

Endyne never made the pistions. Ross is your best bet. With low compression pistions you don't need the head gasket crap/spacer. Also for 7-9 psi, you shouldn't need to lower the CR that much. 9.5:1 should be fine.

Stick with the 1.8L crank and go with a larger overbore. Red and I were just talking about this not 60 minutes ago.

Go with the Haltec, It will control your nitrous setup for you.

stronger CV axles are not needed as of yet.

Go with the 4-1 HVE ceramic coated header

The KAAZ unit is a direct bolt in. It is the Quaife unit that needs the pinion gear flipped.

clutchmasters Stage 3 (4?) clutch

You also need a bevy of gauges to keep track of everything, unless you want to leave your laptop in the car 24x7

You should get about 170 to 180 WHP out of that setup. You left out cams and head/combustion chamber/port work. With that 200 WHP is possible.

Thanks Random, That 's exactly what i needed.

I wrote this last night pretty late and couldnt remeber all the specifics (Kaaz, Quaife etc.)

I want a supercharger, it's still going to be a daily driver and turbo setup I just dont want to mess with.

Yes, but why would you want too? On our engines, the amount of modificatiosn needed to make a 200whp n/a motor will make a MUCH more powerful turbo motor thats more reliable.

200 WHP N/A is possible, but it would NOT be a daily driver. No way.
