Evidently speaking....how can I make my Tiburon faster but at the same time try to keep him from being a BIG RED target from the Police?? As far as Turbo's go, aside from Alpine Dev. what other company manufactures them (preferably the FULL kit?)

 

UFB stage 2 turbo kit. 300+ HP!

To be safe from police (unless you drive fast)
Don't put loud exhaust or muffler. Also Don't put some exterior neon lights.

 

also, no tints, keep the Revs low, ie dont cruis around in 2nd gear @ 5500 Rpms, in a residential neighborhood showin off ur system....

 

To keep the cops away.....

- No Loud Exhaust
- Keep ALL OEM lights
- No dark tint
- no speeding

Well, I don't have loud exahust, I do have bright ass Non-OEM lighting, and I do speed. And you can't exactally call my car a sleeper, and I don't have any Po-Po problems. Just drive reasonably, and responsably, and keep your racing on the track.

On the drive home from Phoenix last night, there was a group of Import guys going to LA. They kept wanting to race me. Middle of the desert. 1am halfway between Phoenix and LA is NOWHERE....but I wouldn't do it.

I've done too much to my car, and in my life to ruin/risk it all racing some dude on the interstate. Try explaining to a cop that your quick run up to 120 MPH with another car right behind you/next to you/in front of you was not a race...no thanks.

Not worth the hassle with the law, the insurance company for the next 3-5 years ($$$) and not worth getting into an accident if some damn Coyote or whatever decides to cross my path....

 

WTF, for $15 you can go to your local track at least twice a week and race whoever you want, plus get timed. It's not worth racing on the street. Trust me, it's a lot more fun going to the track and racing against riced civics LEGALLY. It is so worth not having to look over my shoulder for cops while I race and check out other peoples cars.

Just spend $15 and go to the track you cheapasses. wink.gif

TOO LATE! Already got all the pretty neon lights and just added another pipe, so the exhaust hums pretty loud, especially under bridges and beside other cars! Tints are pretty dark too, makes it hard to park at nite! Oh well, just keep the racing for the track, sounds pretty reasonable. But TURBO'S i want a turbo, and I dont want to do that much cutsom work, Is there a Turbo made for the tiburon??
