Fans Dead.

my fans on my 01 tiburon are dead, they wont move and i dont know what is causing it, my car runs fine and strong while in motion, and fine if stopped for like 5 minutes or less but with those fans not moving it starts to overheat shortly after sitting 5 minutes or more, how much will it run me to replace them? and this just sucks.

got a multimeter? use it to make sure they are getting power first... might only be a fuse or something.
it' would be really really wierd for both of them to go at the same time. btw, I've got two fans.

^^^ agreed, both fans going out.. although possible.. but not likely. speaking of that, when you turn on your a/c does the condensor fan come on at all?
from what i can see, if FUSIBLE LINK "B" blew out, then your car wouldn't start cause it also sends power to the fuel pump. so i would check fuse in relation to the fan or fans.

aha i checked it with the AC on and the fan on the left side worked (if looking at it from the front of the car), and then i used the mutlimeter to see if my other fan was getting juice, and couldnt tell the multimeter was shit, so i just ran a hotwire from the battery to the fan and it didnt start so i assume its the fan motor and priced it at 189$ i belive thats what my mother said she called the place for me while i was out f***ing around with the car, thanks for you guy's help though much apreciated.

Each fan in the FAL 220 setup sucks more air than BOTH of the stock fans together.
I've got the OEM fans from my 01 tib sitting here, they work great, if you want them.
Say, $15 each plus s/h?
