Default Exhaust wrapping

I have heard that heat wrapping a header will cause moisture to get trapped underneath and make your header rust pretty bad. Is this true? I dont want to end up with a header that has rust holes in it because I thought heat wrapping was a good idea.

i would just leave it be. and in any case you can get an obx for 100 bucks so if you absolutely have to wrap it you could just replace it inexpensively

get a stainless steel header?

and when the header is super hot most of the time, i don't see moisture being much of an issue. how much water would be getting on the header anyway? driving with your hood off?
