Default Exhaust manifold cracked!!!!! Need new one

The exhaust manifold on my wifes 1999 tiburon has a crack in it and the dealership won't fix it because they say that it had a crack before and that someone welded it. I bought the car used for my wife 9 months ago. Hyundai wants to charge me almost $800 for a new one(this price includes labor and parts) Does anybody know where i can get a new exhaust manifold for cheap it can either be a stock replacement or an aftermarket performance header it doesn't matter to me. I just don't want to spend anywhere near $800 for that sh--. Please can some one help me. Thanks.

i have a stock manifold if ya wanna buy it. was on my 97 so it doesnt have a cat right at the header. it basically eliminates that one from your car.

Cracks occur on the manifold some times, it is a known problem, my 99 manifold had a small surface crack that would have eventually opened up. WELDED! a cracked manifold should have been changed!! hell go to the wreakers and get one from them, it takes 30 min to install, I'd love to know where the dealer got a $800 figure from. Yes it's like $350 for the one piece cat and manifold but lets say 1 hr to replace it, not $800. I wonder why the first time it was welded? it so should have been replaced. Screw it just get some headders, custom exhaust and hi flow cat, that should run just a bit over $800

My old stock exhaust manifold also cracked (my old stocker unit) on my 99. Maybe it was just a bad year for exhaust manifolds!

Go with either a scrap/junkyard unit, or headers. Even the SR top of the line "Race" headers are only $750!!!! Paying $800 for a stock manifold would be crazy. Was that an "installed" price including labor maybe?
