It cost me $180 for crush bent including the muffler.

The place that does mandrel bent SS piping it was going to be +/- $500 so if I wanted that I'd get the EF catback and if I had to get a different muffler installed.

Damn...shops are seriously over charging for mandrel bends. Wonder if its just because they want more for stainless piping versus traditional.

the shop around the corner from me did my apexi custom header back with ss mandrel bends for 250. i supplied the apexi and the header was there already. he flanged it at the header, then to right before the axel. and then again right after the axel. he did this so i can quickly swap mufflers if needed to be down for inspection like i would have to in nj.

I think it's because the place here does mostly show quality hot rod exhaust, not regular people's cars. That and there is nowhere else here with a mandrel bender, so everywhere else has to buy bends if they want to build an exhaust that's mandrel bent.
