Those straight-through mufflers on ebay are going to be loud and obnoxious
I would get a dynomax super turbo or a borla pro xs unless you like it louder

go with the dynomax. borla is way too expensive for there own good. the only reason why they can charge so much is because of the name borla and no other reason. there products are all the same as dynomax and magnaflow but with the borla emblem.

Do Dynamax and Magnaflow carry the 1,000,000 mile warranty too? I'd go with the Borla because you're guarenteed to get good sound out of it, but that's just me. Hell, for the prices listed above, you can buy the Evofusion catback and bolt it on yourself. The sound from that will be just what you're looking for!.

Can't imagine terribly different than my Elantra, considering it's basically the same thing.

Man that's way too much IMO. Have shop do something custom for you.

Yeah, but a custom catback at a shop is going to run him about the same, plus (unless you dish out the extra to have flanges welded into it) It won't be easily removed when he's done with the car if he wants to sell the exhaust. EF catback is all stainless and mandrel bent. Not going to get that at any shop cheaper than $325.

^That's a great price V. Not something easily found around here. My boy paid $300 just to have the piping done on his Mazda3. He supplied the muffler................crazy!
