Skierd-
Yea, there are some good days and bad days but to me i thought it was cause my auto tranny. i dont know. maybe its my coilpark and plugs. Wheres the idle bypass circuit ocated?

MAd-machine
Well pretty muxch runs the same in both weathers. yeah...

Today my CEL went on. TPS? Coilpack? Plugs? anything else?
man... feels like my car is dying. LAtely after trying to reset my ecu, the car got worst. Its making more choking noises at idle, feel like the car is just ready to lie in peace.

Im gonna try cleaning out the TPS 2m and try turn off the CEL. MAybe borrow the error decoder at kragen. How much does it cost to rent one?

sounds like a coil pack issue to me. Quick $60 fix from Hyundai.

Today i tried taking our the TPS and it came out. Not only did it came out but the bolts that held it to the TB broke off. Half is still stuck on the TB and half came out. ITs stuck and pliers wont get hold of the broken bolts. What on earth should i do now?

OMG I would have to say that is not a good thing. What exactly broke off, are there wires just hanging around or what.

Get a very small "easy out" or one of the new broken screw removers from Craftsman.

Get them out.

sucks for your string of bad luck. how ever as for the initial issue about your rpms dropping like that. more then likely its just your fans kicking in. i'd adjust the idle and see how it responds. they may need to be replaced.

any autoparts store should be able to do a free code scan for you.

Silvertibbs-well only the screw broke off but its stuck in the screw holes of the TB.
REDZ-Im probally gonna go buy the broken screw remover 2m. How much do those go for?
Slipstream- Adjust my idle? how would you get new ones? what parts would need to be replaced? Would i be able to rent a scan tool or do i have to do it at the autoparts store?

Its pretty damn bad now. The car sounds like a freaking "Rustang". And i hear squeeking when i turn my steering wheel all the way. Car feels like its just gonna die. Man im gonna try fix the problem totally 2m. Its a real heart breaker to see my car like this.

So tell me... WHY did you not test the damn sensor before taking it apart? The car's not running right because you tried to remove the TPS. It needs to be recalibrated now iirc...
