it's only 15 days to new years. i'm doubting you can get all the parts you need purchased, shipped, and fit in time. I just hope you didn't bet money on it!

everyone, calm down! try racing your tiburon VS. a mustang V8 in 3 inches of snow. i'll bet you will be happy with the outcome.

1stgentib, make a new bet mang. when it snows by new years, call up your girlfriend and see who can get to work the quickest tongue.gif i'm pretty sure you two will be even.

How loud would a turbo and 2.5 inch exhaust be with a muffler in the middle of the pipe? Will it sound good NOT RICEY? Thanks

My car is loud as shit (almost too loud) and not in a ricy bumble bee way. I am running the AEM intake, 4-2-1 headers, MBRP catback, and car-sound high flow cat. I have to say for as long as it took me to get everything fit wand working correctly (had flanges made for the high flow) I really doubt you will be ready in time.

Why do open headers make you loose so much horsepower?

Exactly, you got it now. But from what other people have said I think the biggest NA you can go is about 2.5 and that is pushing it.

Yep, 2.5inch is the limit on our cars. Maybe if anyone did them you could maybe push 2.75in crushed, never heard of anyone doing that size bend though. Our little engines can't make power with 3inch exhaust non turbocharged. My Dad's 69 Nova has 4inch pipes running N/A. It just depends on the car.
