 why? plz dont give the rest of us a bad name. why dont you put the money into mods that'll give you results, and not just noise.

but if you must....

try aem intake (Ebay), header (Ebay), "racing cat" (SSA Ebay), Hi-Flow Muffler (Ebay), muffler tip.

thats probably the cheapest way, it still wont have the same sound as a mustang. it'll have that ricey honda sound, and i will point and laugh if i ever see you.

instead of making ur car louder than a mustang, why not make it faster than a mustang laugh.gif ?

BETA, the beta IS an in-line 4 cylinder engine.
The only real question is whether its a 1.8l beta or a 2.0l beta.

If you REALLY must make it louder........just pull your exhaust off. no need to spend any money on that.

You will NOT be able to make it as loud as a stang, legally.

It'll sound like shit but it'll definately be loud as hell and win the bet that way. Tib is right...a new stang puts out 300hp and does a 13.8 in the quarter stock..pretty potent stuff in the Stang

You could always take it to an exhaust shop so you have no mufflers or cats. You will get some power too. I think they can change the tone with the correct tools not sure on that though.

Yea, just take off the exhaust and run open headers. I had to drive to the exhaust shop like this (retards...) because I brought them the pipe and then they forgot how the flange was set up. Man... started it in the neighborhood and set off car alarms when I drove by on the street. I lost like 20hp though lol. lol.gif

BTW, the new Stangs suck and only expert drivers can run 13.8. My Dad's brother bought one and we took it to the local track. I ran 15.5 (tiburon) and my cousin (16 years old) ran 14.9 in the rustang. They suck, especially the gearing from 65-100. I actually can hang with the automatic V8 rustang from a roll 65-100, with my 16 year old cousin being the driver. My dad (raced cars all his life) hopped in and ran 14.0 in it with it being auto right after. So the driver is a HUGE factor in that car.

Sorry dude, but the MSRP on the new Stangs is right around $25,000..The only 300hp car in existance (in real life the horsepower rating is probably inaccurate but who doesn't lie about horsepower ratings?) that you can buy at that price.. Criticize it all you want, but it got Car and Driver's top 10 to buy.

Ok...let's get back on topic. This is a pretty topic. Most ricers usually take out their resonator, get a fart can exhaust...maybe drill holes in it...and voila, it should sound loud as hell. Legal? Sensible? Fvck no...you're just a ricer when you do that.

Also...your friend's Mustang is expelling more exhaust than your econobox. Don't expect to get a deep and load throaty sound. Two ways to go...not too louad and throaty sound with your Tib (similar to my exhaust set-up), or something that sounds like a bunch of bumble bees buzzing in a coffee can.

If you're gonna really do this mod, then do it on a Honduh Shitvic, not the Tib. Or at least smash a rock through your windshield...or let me take out a golf club and start bashing your car up. People who do these retarded mods give everyone else a bad rep.
