yep... sure did something wrong.

did you pull the harness off of the ECU?
if so, check that you hooked it back up correctly. if its not seated perfetly than your car will not start. (will turn over but not start.)

if you didnt pull the ECU than chances are you tapped into the wrong wires. if your getting no screen than you probibly dont have any power, crab a multimeter and check that. also check your connections, im not sure... but without the MAF signal getting to the engine it may not start. (then again maybe youll just get a CEL)

ok, i found out that I wired it wrong, so I wired everything and its perfect checked it 20 times. But now the car works great, but the light still comes on on the s-afc but no screen. I even checked it and I was getting a 12+v. i think my s-afc might be bad. any idea's?

ps I didn't cut the mafs sensor wire this time, and didn't connect the yellow wire. so it can monitor but not change anything. but still no screen. anyway, any help would be appreciated wink !

i used pin 58, which random posted as +12v on another thread. I tested the connections with a multimeter, and it seems to be working. I even reconnected the whole device to the power leads running to my radar-detector that I know work. and I just get a small amber light behind the keys, but still no screen. I think its fried. I'm going to try getting another one and testing it. anyway. thankx for your guys help!

see if you can just exchange the afc, and keep the wiring piece you already have. (test that with a multimeter to make sure its good tho) that way you dont have to rewire that SOB.

damn azzy, you got some respect. I was like, damn I know me some electronic **** wink But then I spent a day on that bitch. Its a bitch. I don't wish that on anybody. I even think I got carpel tunnel out of that smile.gif btw, I just removed the screw holding the amphenol connecter in and when I uncliped it, it came right out, and went right back in.

It was cutting all the damn electrical tape and figuring out how to tell what color went to what pin that was the bitch for me. And I wired it backwards, so that didn't help me either. Yeah i'm retarded but what are you going to do. smile.gif

damn, the ground isn't grounding, can someone give me a better ground pin then 55? If I connect 58 with the chassis, then I get 12volts but if I connect 58 and 55, it don't get ****.
