Default ECU wiring diagram

I've searched on webtech and tsr, but I can'd find a decent picture of the ecu wiring harness. Can anyone point me to one quick? thankx!

There isn't a SINGLE diagram for every last thing that comes out of the ECU harness, because you'd spend all week looking at it.

Instead, they have individual wiring diagrams for every sensor, gauge, blah etc that plugs in. If you want to know what wires on the ECU go to the MAFS, then look up Mass Air Flow Sensor on HMAService Webtech and it will show you the pinouts on the ECU that it uses.

As Red stated, use www.hmaservice.com to find out what wires plug into which pin on the ECU harness/ECU.

The only accurate way is to either cut the insulation and verify which wire goes to which pin connector. Or....disconnect the wiring connector from the ECU and see if you can determine it from that end.

well i lost the paper i wrote down the wiring i did on... would really help you out, and keep you from having to pull the ECu wiring harness. (i had all the wire codes) but yah... your in for a HELL of a time man! as i just finished this install about 4 hours ago lemme give you some pointers.

1.) remove the plastic under the steering wheel.
2.) *remember* how the ecu wiring harness comes off! (i broke mine putting it back on, then had to take a dremel to cut it off. then spent 2 hours comming up with a way to keep the wiring harness pluged into the ECU.)
3.) splice into the wires as far away from the harness as possible! trying to fit them all back into the harness is a royal pain, especially with all those plastic pieces.
4.) dont install it in the ashtray. (when in first, and third gear its almost impossible to see it.
5.) set your heated o2 sensor as your "etc" meter, dont set it as karman as some places suggest, set it as heated o2.
6.) and this is a biggie! when putting the harness back into the ECU BE GENTLE!! when i took my harness off i had to force it, so i figured id have to force it back on... but no, just slide it in there gently. take your time and study the way it all actually hooks together. on more time... be gentle!
7.) if your going to install new guages, or paint your dash, this is a great time to do it. i actually had to pull my entire dash out of the car. and i mean EVERYTHING lol. all the metal brackets, all the wiring... it all came out so i could work on the ECU while sitting in the seat. DONT BE LIKE ME~!~!~!!! keep your cool, cause chances are itll be a royal PITA.

oh, and i dont know where your going to go for power but i tapped into the fuse box below the ECU. (by that kickpanel) so its only on when the cars running. if you run into any problems shoot me a PM, or email me.
good luck!

ok, i'm still having a problem
i might be retarded but
i know what pins go to what on the harness, but I don't know which cable to connect to. is there any sort of color cordination diagram that'll go with the ecm harness? like pin 1, ok now connect to pin one....wait which cable is it?

sorry for all the questions, i'm just having a tuff time

im not sure if i fully understand your question man.

if your asking if theres a color guide that goes to the harness the answer is prolly yes. i say that cause each wire is a different color with a different color stipe on it. (I.E. no 2 wires are the same) but i have yet to see a diagram stating which color wire= which pin on the harness.

this is a PITA to install... try to keep your cool and not break the harness.
