Default Does the Blitz Power Meter I-D Work?

Just wondering does the Blitz power meter I-D work on our cars? It's supposed to tell you your hosepower at wheels while you are moving. And your speed either kph or mph. They say that they aren't very hard to install either. I was thinking about getting one and just wanted to know if it will work and give actual hp readings or is this just some good eye candy for the car.

It is very similar to a G-tech pro.

But the G-Tech Pro is about $150-$200 less....

They are as accurate as the information you give them.

I looked at that meter but like Random sez, they are only as good as what you put in. You'd need to get the car weighed with you in it, and petrol and put that figure in the meter - of course the weight of the car will vary because you won't always have a full/empty tank of petrol!

You can read about all the calibration etc. here http://www.blitz-na.com/05Installation_Manual.html
