Is there any difference between the Hyundai Beta 1 2.0L engine, compared to the Hyundai Beta 2 2.0L Engine? Currently im using the Weisco Forged 1997-00 2.0 Beta 1 Forged Pistons in my car. Now, according to a few people there are huge differences with the rods/pistons... is this true? Or are the same? Im hoping so, because im using the beta 1 2.0l forged pistons (8:5.1 low compression) in my current beta 2 setup.

Please let me know!

Derek

Closed.

Please search, it's covered several times, even in the FAQ if I remember correctly. Sensors are the main difference.
