you have several options. you can go with a piggy-back unit or a stand-alone. what are your goals with this ecu upgrade? you can use an s-afc II, and you'll only be able to adjust your fuel curve at 12 points. this runs about $300 + installation and tuning. and you can add an msd-dis2 or an s-itc to have some sort of ignition timing control. on the other end of the spectrum, you can go with a haltech, which replaces your complete ecu, and you can have so much more capability over a piggy-back. you create the whole fuel curve, control boost, control your injector pulsewidths, etc... this runs about $1300 + installation and tuning. it really depends on what your goals are and how much money you have. search for safc and haltech, and you'll find posts from people just wanting to use a simple safc to get a few more hp out of their intake and exhaust, to red, who's running a haltech.
