jrh,

The MHP intake is more of a true "cold air intake" in that it sucks air from outside your engine compartment all-togeather. You will have to cut a hole in your mudguard to get it to sit right, but it's no biggie.

For the $40 extra, get the MHP intake. I have had mine in for over a year, and it's been great! Love the sound too! A friend of mine has a Sentra SE-R and he's faster than me, but really jealous of my engine's sweet sound.

OR... if you can wait, get the Shark Racing intake. It should be out very soon... and is supposed to be the best intake for both sound/power gain.

Cut a hole in the mud guard....You mean splash guard? That plastic piece under the car that protects if from rocks and dirt on the road from kicking up into the engine? Cause for a second I thought you meant the "mud" guards as in the ones that go behind the wheels to keep dirt from kicking up on the side of the car. If you can, show me a picture of what I have to cut, because there is a lot of dirt and rocks that get kicked up around here, so I don't know if I want it that low.
