I have seen some ppl list clutch slave mod in their list of mods. What I am asking is are they talking about taking out the restrictor plate and spring? I have seen this done on other makes just want to make sure I have my facts straight. Is this a worthwhile mod to do is the other question? After searching I am still in the dark some say best mod they have done others saying don't do it.

 

it's just a little cap and spring in the fluid line. The apparent reason for it is that it slows down the fluid a bit to help people shift better, aka makes them smother. I've removed mine, it's a slight change. I mean very slight. I'd do it though if I was replacing the slave or fluid.
