So let me ask a couple of questions here.

1. Who's the chick? New girlfriend?

2. Are you saying you put the flywheel on with only 3 bolts, then took it off to put the other 3 on?

3. You let her use an impact gun on your lug nuts, for the love of god tell me she's LOOSENING them. I'm assuming she's tightening them, it's the last picture in the series.

4. Are you ever going to learn how to spell anything?

Plyers = Pliars.
CAPITOLIZED = CAPITALIZED

For anyone interested, Albuquerque has a really nice DIY shop just like this, run by the son of the guy that runs the one on Kirtland AFB.

1. She likes cars, we've gone to a few car shows and worked on our cars together.

2. Yes, but, the pressure plate, not the flywheel. The pressure plate has 9 holes in it, the flywheel has 3 studs and 6 threaded holes. There's a total of 3 out of 9 positions it will fit properly. I rotated it twice and figured the new flywheel was designed to mount with just 3 bolts instead of 6. After cleaning up and playing with my stock flywheel at home I realized I had made a blunder.

3. No, she's tightening. It's an adjustable impact wrench. The impact was set on setting 2 of 5. She was using a 1 second burst of impact. It tightens to just about the right tightness. I've verified with a torque wrench before and I've used that brand of impact enough to know that.

4. nO. i rely on spell cheq and the guvrnment computer duz not hav it.

Hey man, how much do they charge per hour to run that shop? I'd like to find one up north. That's a big issue for me in the civilian sector.

Here's some more pictures of my cleaned up clutch and flywheel assembly. It's seriously as clean as it gets. It soaked in hot dawn after the parts cleaner. and was scrubbed with a brush so that I could handle it and in case of emergency reuse any part necessary.

Picture showing proper orientation of the pressure plate on the flywheel

Picture showing worn/glazed clutch. If you look up at the top portion of this picture, you can see that the clutch actually changed color under the heat. It started off as a somewhat purple color.

Picture showing flywheel with lots of abuse. You'll notice the hot areas. The SECO clutch I used did not wear into the flywheel much at all. You can still see the origonal resurfacing machine marks. The clutch slipped quite a few times though causing massive discoloration on the surface. Also, you can see that the flywheel is drilled at the bottom of the pic. This removes weight and balances it when you have it resurfaced.

I'd recommend SECO to anyone looking for a good stock replacement clutch.

lol. burnt waffle. It's the nitrous man. It makes the stock/stock replacement clutches I've used slip. I also abused it the night before i replaced it. It was gripping fine though. I did the replacement because the old clutch can't handle nitrous and was somewhat warped too.

I think a good combination would be a stock clutch with the XTD stage 3 60% increased load pressure plate. I really liked the feel of the stock clutch, and the ceramic chatters too much, and engages hard. It would be a great compromise to use the stock with a better pressure plate. These comments belong in the review thread later once it's broken in.

I met her through a friend at work. She likes my car and she's earned the right to drive my car after putting hours of work into it. I would nottrust anyone who hasn't worked on my car to drive it. She's never asked though.
