I replaced my cluch on thursday. After it was all done, i realized that I messed up. If you rotate the pressure plate into 2 of the 3 positions it sets, it will only reveal 3 bolts. It has to be put on so that the indented areas are on the pins. So, I had a friend help me out today... lesson learned, pix taken.

She's pretty good with an impact gun.

Fort Jackson Autocraft shop. They make you go through a safety class and then you can work on your car for a price per hour.

3 times, first time I screwed up though. LOL....

The first time I asked my buddy to read the DIY guide before helping me. He did and he put the TOB on the pressure plate off the car. The only thing in the whole DIY that was in BOLD RED CAPITOLIZED ITALICS said do not put the TOB on the pressure plate and he did, then we pried it off and bent the splines on the PP. So after a week I ordered a new clutch

The next time I thought we had it. We took apart the whole car and I had him put on the new flywheel and clutch while I smoked a cigarette. I guess he used an impact wrench in a circle to tighten the flywheel. it ended up busting out the center of the flywheel and making an awful rattling sound while driving. I took it right back into the bay

I replaced the flywheel with the resurfaced one that came on my car. It's been about a year now and nitrous wrecked my clutch. It was time for a new one.

I would like to say that the XTD pressure plate is much much much easier to snap the TOB out then other types. I snapped the TOB out of the pressure plate in 3.21234 seconds after setting it on a table and going at it with plyers.

Yep, this is about all I'll miss from the Army.

I'm on 24 hour duty right now.
