Clutch Question

ugh well looks like i will need to buy clutch number 5 and i really dont want to so i got a cheapo question...
i have a ACT street disk clutch its rated to 238 ft/lbs ill need it to go a little higher than that...
now do i have to get a entire new clutch kit? someone said just buy a new clutch disk and youll be ok....

I believe you can do that you just need to get the throwout bearing off without hurting your PP and get your flywheel and pressure plate resurfaced.
I think that the pressure plate also plays a major part in the holding capacity of the clutch, since it is what holds pressure on the disc itself.
I wouldn't want to risk all of that work pulling the tranny and all and then find out that you need a new pressure plate too. I would just get the assembly myself. Try to find something cheap on ebay.
