Clutch making a buzzing noise

i drive a 97 tib, my clutch is making a buzzing noise when i got into 2nd gear, and i have to like stomp on my clutch to shift and if i dont i grind gears, would i need a new clutch?

it should last longer than that... but that also depends on how and where you drive. A lot of city driving can wear out a clutch quickly.. mostly highway will make it live a LONG time.. You clutch style will make a difference. The more you slip it, the shorter it's life.. Also, resting your foot (even just touching) will make it wear faster.

Personally, I hope to make it to this summer with my clutch (85000) I want to add a lightweight flywheel at the same time.. but it is not in my budget at the moment.

my clutch went out on my today, it pop when i was at the shop i can my parts from. Its gonna cost me about 600$ evil.gif for everything Clutch kit and labor. I should have my car by next week. b/c they still gotta order the part. O yea no more money for a long time for my rims and lowering springs 02.gif

instead of goin for an OEM clutch, think about upgrading it. thats what i'm gonna do when i beat mine up. (hopefully not for a while since my car only has 33K miles on it)

well.. I know my clutch is the next thing... I have 85,000 on it and every so often I can feel a "click" when disengaging in first.
