My clutch went out today after some hard driving owned.gif So I went to AutoZone and picked up a new one.
Anyways, Im going to be doing the install this weekend. I just looked up some DIY's and got all of the required info. Ive done one in the past to a 97 Prelude and took about 2 days. But looking at the tibs bay it looks ALOT easier, the H22 took up so much room it was a b****.

So my question is about how long can I expect to get this done with me, my friend and a very mechanically inclined friends dad? How long did yours take?

Thanks

Its actually pretty easy if you have air tools and a DIY on hand. Mine took 2 days but that was due to the parts store giving me a clutch with the throwout bearing already installed. But, if I didnt have that problem I would have it done in a day. With 3 people and at least one who knows what they are doing, it will be easy.

Nice, yeah I just printed out a DIY and we have air tools smile.gif

I doubt my friends dad will be doing too much 'helping'. He'll just pretty much supervise and give us tips and make sure we dont forget anything.

Takes just myself about 3 hours now. Just remember to pull the clutch lever off completely before pulling off the tranny.

on a scale of 1-10 difficulty, 1 being able to change your own oil and 10 being able to Install your own turbo?
and the fact that you don't know where or what the clutch lever looks like???

Installing a turbo kit is a piece of kayke compared to swapping clutches IMO.

Using Reds (not Redz) PITA scale, I give it an 8.
