I will admit.. when I go boost, I am considering trying to find the Elantra wagan tranny for my tib.. it's wider spaced gears should work well with more power and boost.. and it might give me better miliage to boot! Another plus, I can build it up with all new synrcos, bearings, and an LSD before I drop my old tranny.

Couple of swap questions:

1. Do I absolutely need manual axles?
2. Do I need a manual starter?

since I have done the swap I am most qualified to answer you.

You dont need the manual axles. I use the automatic ones just fine.

Yes you do need the starter motor for a manual.

You dont need the manual Ecu, there is no manual ecu.

Every tiburon auto or mnual uses the same ecu. They wire them different for auto or manual mode.

I have a wiring diagram. I have posted on HP...but not here.. guess I will need to.
