Ok so i get to work park the car and all the sudden before i turn it off check engine light goes on. And now its always on when i turn the car on. is there any way to check the code without a computer

really man, how the hell do you think you would be able to figure out the code without a computer? good thing is that autozone, advance auto, pepboys, etc... will check it for free for you.

With some cars, you can short 2 pins in the OBD port and the check engine light will flash out the code. Not Hyundais, though. Go to Autozone and get it checked for free.

I tried on my Tib to read ABS error. I put a bulb between one pin and groud and it flashed a code, but I didn't find what that code meant though. I think that's possible with CEL.

na we really don't.. unless its some private garage that will do it.. but any chain shops like autozone in your area wont have that down here..

shorty do you have aftermarket headers because if you do i have heard that sometimes the O2 sensors will make the check engine light go off and if anybody reading this can verify that info it would be much appreciated because mine is on too and all i did was put my headers in.
