it shouldn't matter if you have a autotragic or not. do those hoses run to your tranny? does that sensor connector run to your tranny? no it doesn't. you can hear your solinoid i cant hear shit under my hood maybe thats a problem your having i don't think its suppose to make noise.

EXACTLY.

Man, this has nothing to do with your tranny, any mechanic who told you this is an idiot.

Do what I said, get it working OEM again so that the car runs fine. Once you have that done, go through the removal DIY, EXACTLY how it explains. 99% of us don't have the knowledge on this thing and what each and every hose does so it's impossible for us to help you troubleshoot it. Hook it up how it is STOCK and just get it frickin WORKING. Once that's done at least we can walk you through a relocation / removal DIY and help you, but otherwise you've created such a mess down there that it's way to hard to help you and understand what you're talking about.

I'm not even sure if the problem you're having is directly related to this thing, so if you get this thing connected back OEM-style then you will be able to tell.

The tranny computer and ECU are connected though, and even HMAService says stuff about the charcoal cannister related to the auto tranny.

OK boys. Big update.

Ok, that's how it looks like from the top. Everything is where it needs to be.

As you can see everything is where it needs to be, tightly and securely. When I first started messing with this, I'd get a CEL if the solenoid was unplugged. Then when I would plug it back in the CEL would go off. Now the CEL stays on even then the solenoid is plugged in. It even makes me wonder if this thing is working?! Solenoid is 6 months new. The metal braces in the plug are a little corroded, but I did my best to scrape them off. Still no power from the plug. How can I test if the plug has power?

not everything needs power to be tested. sorta like when u test your tps sensor. you just need a voltemeter but it should have power when the ignition is on. change that blue connector if u are geting air through it.

also take off the hoses you labeled battery tray and see wich one is sucking maybe u can trace it back to your IM or whatever it goes to and block it off. then maybe it won't throw the code no suction no problem just bypass it sorta.it will get rid of your gas tank hiss atleast. next week i'll check n see if i have power through that connector maybe thats your prob too.

maybe plugging and unplugging the sensor all the time shorted it? and yeah I don't think that blue part should be sucking air in..

Yeah, I still say you have a crack or something down there. You need to get someone on here to look at it with you. Fresh set of eyes.

BTW, your Solenoid looks like shit.

Haha, that's exactly what I need, and some ABQ hottie.

I think I have the two tubes from the Solenoid reversed no? Thank You boys, I really really really appreciate your time. You don't know how much of a hel you've been.

Look at this:

I found this today! That tube hidden into the body of the fender is cut! It looks like it's been cut through by something hot. Could this be the big mystery?! If so, how can I put that back together. Maybe the solenoid isn't working because it's reading atmospheric pressure from the outside.

Solenoid is new, the bracket is rusted as shit LOL, good way to test it is to blow through it, and if air goes through iz all good.

I've been telling you for sooo long that the long tube that goes into the body is just a atmosphere release, it's supposed to be cut.

haha wow dood!! i thought the atmoshere release was at least connected to some space probe or something. haha... how does it stay in there, or is it supposed to? owned.gif

I'm just going to switch these tw solenoid tubes around and see if it'll do the trick. if not then "can you feel it" duh nuh nuh nuh laugh.gif i'll just reset my ECU before i go to emissions next time.
