I think I read your thread about the TOB. I tried to take pix to go with it, but they ended up badly and I didn't use them. It helped, thanks.
So any idea why your gears were binding? was the flywheel just warping under the weight of being off balanced or did the tooth get caught in there?

Well the toll is pretty high now but the tibs back on the road and running better than ever. It took:
1. broken gripforce flywheel/resurfaced stock flywheel
2. act clutch kit
3. master cyclinder
4. slave cyclinder
5. alternator
6. new optima red top
7. battery relocation kit (pics coming soon in the form of a diy)
I'm running ~10 psi on it and it pulls really really HARD. No slipping at all. I can't believe how much power I was losing from the slipping clutch. It's pretty unbelievable. I'll report back after a while to update on abuse vs. reliability of the clutch on 10 psi.
btw, toms parts on ebay is great! I got my new elantra alternator from there for $30 bucks and it works great. It was from a 04 and it's a direct replacement. I swapped the pully because mad john said it was necessary but they looked identical to me and my brother.
btw, the new alt was a 90 amp, thats an upgrade right? I can't seem to find the stock rating.
