random, so it works for under 100 bucks...cool. but is my car still going to pass smog?

It should keep both cats, so cat back systems are 100% legal, as long as the muffer noise level is below 95 db.

form where do they measure the dB at? right at the muffler or so many feet away,
just curious.

Law varies from state to state. Californa has a 95 DB law, but no way to measure it (no equipement) and no "standard" as to where to measure it from...gotta love lawmakers.
