Inside fenderwell and right under the battery tray platform.

I think that he is right, just yesterday I went out and bought a cone filter with a small tube to install in my 2003 Tib and for some reason when I went out for a test drive, the car was sluggish and felt as if it was going to die out. I would stop at a light and punch the pedal and it would respond really shi**y. When I put the stock application back it ran so much better. Is it really the vibration with the MAF?

Thanks

El Chuco did you reset the ECU before the test drive. if not then that might be your problem.

Ruben,
So is it proper proceedure to disconnect the battery for about 30 min. while I put the tube and cone filter on where the stock box disconnects? If so will I have to do this when I put the SR-CAI on. Since it goes fron the TB to the MAF and down into the fender.

Thanks

yeah as far as i know the computer has to ''relearn'' how much air it gets so you have to reset the computer. and yes you'll have to do it with the SR CAI.
