First, we WERE talking about horsepower. Your article proved that it wasn't worth it in that regard.
I also covered your next reason in one of my previous posts concerning efficiency. I clearly stated that it wouldn't be an upgrade next to factory coils and wires in GOOD condition. Zero resistance in wires make them just as good as having no wires at all between the coil and plug. But, now you want to compare this mod to crappy factory wires and coils with 150k miles on them and say it's better? Well, duh?
As I said, this is to produce a hotter spark on a modified engine consuming more fuel. Anything less, and it's a waste of time, or just engine jewelry.

In this case its about a better throttle response and a lengthened / wider power band.
I suppose that would show up as peak torque being delivered at a lower RPM, or a higher amount of peak torque. Throttle response is obviously not going to show up on a dyno chart.
