Default belts

i am trying to remember is it bad if your belt is staring to glaze over and become shiny? starting to hear a little squeaking at low rpms think the belt is just getting old. how many miles are you supposed to get out of a belt anyway?

I would reccomend you replace your belts every 60,000 Max, every 40,000 if you want to be anal about it.

Some belts will last for 100,000 easy...some will barely make 20,000. It depends on the evironment you live in, and how you run your engine.
