Ok, the problem I am having is when I start my car, If I immediately put it into drive/reverse, it does not want to move at all. If I stick into neutral or park and rev it a little bit for about a minute or so, and then put into drive/reverse it goes right away like it is supposed to, but it seems like I have to warm up/move my fluid first. I checked the fluid and it is good(yes, I checked it correctly, hot and cold). I don't have any idea what the problem could be. Any Suggestions? or is this normal and I am just an impatient arsehole.
just because you are full does not mean the fluid is good.. autotranny fluid should be dark, but with a reddish tint... how does your's look?
It could also be a torque converter problem or a valve body problem...

I would have to correct you on this...I work with transmission fluid all day every day, Transmission fluid starts out as a light red and then moves towards a black color..of course black being if you haven't changed fluids in about 150k. Also, after excessive use of the fluid, it creates a not so good smelling fragrance. Just pull your stick and make sure it still shows traces of red coloring in it.
I replace/flush transmissions for a living and just had my own done.
i change my oil every 20k and its always black. your probably just due for a good flush. chances are debris are cloging the valve body and your not getting enough presure to shift into gear without gassing it a little.
check the pan when you drain it and see whats collected at the bottom. if flushing it dosent work inspect the valve body for damage.

I stand corrected.. as the only vehicle I have owned that was an auto is my van, I have only seen auto tranny fluid while it was in the transmission. Guess my friends and family are not that good about changing it.

Ok I have 62K on my car right now and when I checked my fluid it was brownish red but not so much red so I think I'll go ahead and get a flush and refill pretty soon
Thanks Guys
