Very quiet... doesn't sound overly loud or ricey at all... at least with the .wav you provided. Might be a good exhaust for those who want to avoid detection, but still get the performance.

My wife hates loud exhausts. We have tons of Harleys and big V8 trucks around and they are loud. She was quite pleased with the ARK sound level.
It's got a nice low rumble and even at higher rpms it doesn't wail. It sounds more like a stock V8 exhaust and is definitely not ricey. I didn't even bother trying it with the silencer in. They put a nice big perforated resonator right after the cat and I think that cuts down on the sound nicely. The big and deep 4" tip really gives it a nice low sound, but without any buzzing or "farting".
The new exhaust clip and the old exhaust clip were taken from the same angle behind the car so the sounds levels do match. Comparing the two will give you a good idea of how the sound changes. I revved it up to above 5k rpm in the clip to get the whole rpm range. In some ways it's not as piercing as the stock exhaust at the higher rpms, as the stock exhaust got the high-pitched wail which was painful while I was videoing. The ARK exhaust never had that piercing quality, even above 5k rpm. My wife said she nearly revved it to 6k laugh.gif
Even at 70mph in 5th gear it's just a nice low rumble so its not even loud at highway speeds.

Duh.. didn't realize I had screwed up the image link in the dyno runs in the first post... fixed those laugh.gif
I love the Gtech Pro Road Racing..... it's a great tool. In 2 weeks my friend is going to take it out road racing, so I'll get some good data from that as well.

HERE ARE PICS!
what to do with hanger...
we're in the process of it being fixed. we have 2 remaining, that we'll sell for cheaper at $359 because you have to adjust the hanger (it's not the exhaust, it's the hanger).
use only one extension hanger to rubber adapter, instead of two.

Heh, had to go get an emissions inspection on my wife's 2000 Tibby so I drove it for the day. Woah, what a difference. I was happy to get back into the 1999 with the exhaust.
I think the 2000s are also about 100lbs heavier than the 99s. The 2000 dyno'd at about 87 ghp (gtech horsepower) whereas the 99 before the exhaust hit 95 ghp. After the exhaust it's 101 ghp. Wow, I guess that's about 14 hp difference all said and done and it really shows. (6 of that due to the catback and 9 due to car differences).
Hopefully later in the summer I'll get an AEM intake and add another 6 or so.

If those gtech numbers are even mildy close to correct, you need a tuneup and engine rebuild on both your cars before you start modifying them. For them to be putting out such low numbers...
