Chris the Speedstate CAI is a plug and play set up, no cutting into the fender well etc. all the 3 major CAI setups work . They decided not to go into the fender well due to spec A and Elantra's 96-98 problems, also due the the extra bend, yes it is colder in the fendr well but tha bend restricts air, so even tho this gets air from under the rad/just after the bumper it's cooler than the rest of your engine. It works as the HP gain on a dyno ( when they finish ) will be the same as others.

very? humm the $250 is canadian dollars, thats cheap compared to the others.

I hear the valve breaks easy and have never known anyone to be happy hith it.
