Default is anyone out there making real power?

ive only just recently discovered this board, so i havnt had time to go through every thread, but what im wondering is-- are any of you making any kind of real power via high compression or forced induction?-- i saw a thread about a fan than bolts onto your intake and i wanted to cry, it was so stupid. i saw another where some peeps were argueing over the bore and stroke of the 1.8 and 2.0 motor. these motors have been around for a few YEARS now and you guyz dont know what the real bore and stroke is?! I did find some stuff on a S-AFC, which was nice, but no one who was talking about it was running a turbo setup (as far as i know) "Random" the admin helped me out with some braking issuse, but that is stoping not going. so if any of you are making some real power, i would like to know and dont tell me you have a gt2 motor in your tibbie, it just wastes everyones time. also i would like to see pics, dyno sheets, and or a 1/4 time slip.
thx

Can you give us your definition of real power.

[edit]

YURI aka BAT LORD should be putting down some sweet numbers once his turbo setup is tweaked and runnning.

Hell, I'm not making much power. We can fantasize about how much power I will make (hehe), but seriously I'm not there yet and the proof is in the pudding.

I'm just curious as to what defines "real power"? Are you wanting a specific horsepower number? Or a quarter mile time? Or just someone to say "I beat a Viper on the street"

What is it that you consider real power?

our tibbies put out 120+-whp to the wheels stock on a 5-speed. So if i add nitrous and bump that up to 140-150whp do you consider that real horsepower? Are you looking at turbo or other forced induction power? nitrous? what/

Cause i'm running 142+whp(with ac on) measured by a RSM-GP fully NA. Got that number today on the highway after calibrating the power-loss and on a very smooth road. I've gotten readings of 150+whp on it tho before. and this is before the nawz.

no but seriously now, if your looking to make insane amounts of HP/TQ then you should be talking to random/red/onpol who have some sick projects in the works for their tibbies, and they have pictures (RED where's your website again?). anyway, jaws has some good nawz experience, but clarify what your looking for and we can probably help.

(ps. no offence to anyone i forgot to mention!)

I'm sick, tired, pissed and fed up with my current webservice provider, so I'm switching servers to a place where the uptime is better than 50%

I own the DNS name: http://www.hyundaiproject.com but it's gonna be a few more days (eh, maybe a week?) before the new service is running and my domain name is re-homed to the new server.

im not sure what kind of power onpol is looking for
i do know there are 3 forum members going for 220whp+, 300whp+, 400whp+.... and reds insane ass with the 600whp+ dyno

smile.gif

Imma frame red's dyno on my wall... 600whp all possible because of my super duper intake manifold that he will be using
