Engine, Intake, Exhaust Modifications to your Normally Aspirated Hyundai engine. Cold Air Intakes, Spark Plugs/wires, Cat back Exhaust...etc.

anyone else have this problem??

Default anyone else have this problem??

so i just put a automatic tranny with 24000 miles on it into my 02 elantra gls and it almost feels like its slipping again. the one i pulled out had 125000 on it and was slipping and shuttering really bad. has anyone else had any problems out of the same tranny???

I don't have much experience with the Hyundai automatics, but I've seen that happen on other cars if the kick down linkage was not properly adjusted. Another symptom of that is if the transmission doesn't shift where it should, usually shifting earlier or shifting at the same RPM regardless of how hard you're on the gas.

ya like if im on the throttle pretty hard it seems to shift fine but if im just cruising around it takes forever to shift it seems like and sits at the higher end for awhile

i went back to hyundai and got the specific tranny fluid for it
