Re: Front Bumper
thanks to webtech.com...
directions:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery
2. Loosen the belt tension.
3. Raise the vehicle.
4. Remove the mud guard - RH
5. Disconnect the generator B+ terminal wire and wiring harness.
6. Remove the belt and generator mounting bolt (2EA).
7. Remove the generator assembly.
8. Installation is the reverse order of removal.
---------
i don't know if you have to take off the other 2 belts. i don't know if the alternator belt is the inboard or outboard belt...

Re: Header O2 sensor headache
I had mine rebuilt for $75
WTF, i looked on webtech when i had to take mine out and couldn't find ANYTHING... and it was raining, midnight, and COLD as hell outside. and to top it all off i didn't have a hydraulic jack, and it is hard to get underneath a car with a kit 8O
anyways...once you get all the bolts out there is this long screwy thing that it pivots on, it comes out pulling outwards from pass. side, after that take the oil filter out and then just wiggle it a lot and it will come loose.
it took me about 90 minutes (?) in the freeeeeeezing cold and not knowing what the hell i was doing, it's not that tough though.
good luck--

Re: coupe door sills
the core charge is what they charge you if you do not give them your old alternator to be rebuilt. Once you get the new one in and drop off the old one, you get that money back...unless of course you want to keep the old alternator..

Re: Insomniac Thread
Zoned- i think that might happen to me, it is raining like hell in sf now. But the difference is that i have an hydraulic-jack and i hope i get it out and get the new one by sundown. By the way, how long did it take to rebuilt a alternator? I might myself get it rebuilt if it doesnt take too long. Thanks for tips man
Mad Machine- hmmm i did not know that... now i do, thank you.
Hamhead- Haha i hope so too, *fingers crossed*. Thanks for admiring my attitude. Its been soo hard for me these couple weeks, so many things to worry about ( SAT, ACT,College, Homework, and the Tib) :? , and with your commment it just makes me feel confident on what im doing. Thankyou very much. laugh.gif
