Will a 4CYL 03 tiburon's alternator fit our car? I'm pretty sure my alternator is going bad because the lights are dimming while driving. When i turn on my A/C the dash and headlights immediately dims from the fan then when the compressor kicks on it dims even more.

So I'm looking at ebay, and I know we have a 90A alternator, but they're selling 80A alternators for our cars. Will a Beta 2 alternator fit on a beta 1?

Go buy a new alt from autozone, you'll get a lifetime warrenty and never have to pay for an alt for as long as you own your car.

^^ forget that. autozone want's $264, i could buy 5-6 ebay alternators for that price. I'll probly only need one! That's a rediculous statement man. Even if the first 4 are crap, i still would save money buying a cheap one.

I've got a brand new 90A alternator I will sell for $90 + shipping if you are interested. I bought it for my car and realized it was not my problem. I had it tested at Autozone as well.

You can always get them rebuilt. I got mine done for like $50, and only had 1 day of down time. That was 3 years ago, still no problems.

Just wanted to say thanks JavaGeek! I got the alternator today. I just installed it. Battery voltage is back up to 14.5V while charging! Awesome!

Per chance, was that remanufactured alternator more powerful then the origonal? The size of the green coil ring was about 1/4-1/2 inch bigger then the stocker I pulled out. Everything looked exactally the same except newer and a bigger coil size? Is it still rated 90A?
