Default Airrams with stock throttle body

I have had my airram sitting in my basement for a few months and I think Im ready to install it. Would I still see results with it even though I would be using the stock throttle body? Should I have my stock one opened up more or is there an aftermarket one I should buy instead?

You will see gains because it is not as restrictive as the stock intake manifold.

Remember though, your airflow is only as good as your smallest diameter, if you have a big intake pipe, stock tb and big manny, air will still be only as fast as a stock tb...sorta like two funnels taped together at the small ends,it doesnt matter how huge the other openings are on each end, flow will only be as fast as the smallest diameters will allow...in other words ,get a bbtb for full potential of the air ram.

I use 61mm tb,airram,2.5" piping

Fun factoid: if you are modifying your daily driver, you likely want a smaller throttle body for the low-throttle precision it gives. If you plan on spending a lot of time at high RPMs then a larger throttle body *may* be in order.
