My header and my Motoria overpower the sound that my AEM makes. People say though if I'm at wide open throttle and I'm driving towards them, you can still hear my intake though. Once I swap the transmission, and get a BBTB/airram hopefully I'll be able to hear my motor again.tongue.gif

I'm pretty sure the diameter on the aem is 3" for the Tiburon.

Holy sh!t!!! Talk about a ton of replies! Well, it is not that I don't LOVE the sound, it is just that I wanted to make sure there was nothing wrong with the engine and that this was normal.

I probably didn't hear it on the old tib because the exhaust was so freakin' loud. LOL.

Anyway redz, I am putting on the airram and 65mm TB tomorrow or monday (I can't freakin wait!!!).

offtopic.gif

I also have an HVE stage 1 4-1 header that I bought from ammoman. I have to fab up a flexpipe for it though, not to mention the collector is 3". (I thought about getting a 3" custom exhaust from the collector back, what you guys think? Prolly WAY too big, and I would lose power huh?) My tib will probably sound insane after I get the IM, TB, 4-1, and custom exhaust w/magnaflow race muffer (3" all the way through, lol)on it.

Well, it seems like everyone here is definately satisfied with the AEM, as am I.

Thanks for so many replies guys!!

Doode, we wouldn't recommend it as the best CAI if it wasn't.

Also, there have been TONS of threads on the sound they make. So yeah, it's pretty noticable.

3 inch would be too big for the exhaust.

get a 2.25" exhaust (2 1/4) and you'll be happy. AirRam + BBTB = holy
