I'm going to give AEM a call tomorrow and see where they are at with the intakes. Maybe I will have one installed on my car over this next week. *muhahaha!*

Oh yeah, and Rob, if I'm not busy in September, I'll drive out there to Vegas for the shootout.

Update:

I called up AEM today. They are shipping me an intake on Wednesday. I should have it by the end of the weekend. However, I am thinking of just driving down there on wednesday, since I'm impatient! hehe smile.gif

According to AEM, Silver Intakes for the 99 - 01 Tibs were manufactures on Monday, July 29th. Blue and Red Intakes are being manufactured on Tuesday July 30th.

I will pick up and install an intake on my car on Wednesday July 31st.

AEM will start shipping Intakes on July 31st. They should be available to buy from your local high performance parts supplier over the next week. I don't know the price on it, or any of that stuff. I'll check when I go down to AEM on Wednesday.

I will also take pictures of it an post for ya'll.

Just so you know, the intake is kinda like the MHP CAI, however it makes a little turn forward at the end so the filter faces the front of the car. AEM did this because they do not want the filter touching anything in the fender/bumper area. I'll have more info when I get it wednesay.

Don't worry.. I won't.

Unfortunately, it's going to be a couple days longer than anticipated. I guess they were a little behind production for some reason or another, so they do not have it ready for me this morning to pick up. This morning was my only time available to get it, so I'm going to have to wait until they send it to me instead. So probably Saturday or next Monday I will have it. Sux so bad. I wanted it today too. Shoot!
