adjustable cam sprockets
for best results you really should get both, they really don't add horse power persay but help put what you have to the wheels and also help fine tune your cams to get the most out of them.
due to tolerance in building the engine, compromises in it's design, and the need for both power and clean emissions, the cams may not be in the exact perfect place to give you the power you need and want. Running just one will allow you to tailor the power slightly in varying from the crank position, using both will allow you to move the cams in relation to each other. Having both adjustable makes for a VERY tunable engine, but I suggest doing the tuning on a dyno.

well there is one sprocket and udner the valve cover there is just the cams that are connected by chain
right, the Kspec one allows you to manipulate the one under the cover... sounds like a real pain to do though
from experience, a $ 70 obx sprocket from ebay will do the trick.
on my beta2 xd, i gained 2 wheel horse power and 4.4 ft.lb of wheel torque SAE corrected...
here is the dyno with 3 runs, the 1st run is with the sprocket set to zero..
the next run is with the sprocket advaned 4 crank degrees...
and the last run ( blue ) is with the sprocket advaned 8 crank degrees... that one yielded the most gains.. I did not continue to advance it but because the HP dropped off by 2 tenths & the torque went up again... so I felt that it WAS the sweet spot for the stock cams on my car... every car is different so you want to tune yours on the dyno to get the most power...
also, the obx sprocket is very easy to tune, if you look at the time stamps on my dyno runs, you can see that the etire process of tuning them only took me 14 minutes including all 3 runs !!!
enjoy:

I would also like to point out that by simply switching to a cold air intake, i gained another 5.6 ft.lb of torque at the wheels SAE corrected...
check this dyno out:

lastly, here is a link with many more mods & dynos to show you how to get some more power out of your car...
