5 speed difficult to put into reverse gear?

there are NOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooo syncro in the reverse gear for the tiburon.. redz you are right that slowly bringthe clutch back will pop it in but to do it correctly is to put the car into first gear first..this will line all the gears up first .... then from first gear go to reverse.. you will find that there will be no grinding or hard time of puttin it in.. for those of you who cant find the hole...

Yup, you are right man. Clutch all the way in, put it in first then into Reverse.

If you can't find the hole, put a little hair above it.

Like Redzman said, the best way to deal with it is to double clutch: Fully press the clutch and then let it out. The press the clutch again and you shouldn't have any problems going into reverse. You can also try gently pushing the shifter into reverse while slowly releasing the clutch. It will work, but I get a little grinding this way so I rarely do this.

i always put it into first then let off the gas a little then put it in reverse and it works fine most of the time. But i get it check out soon

I have the same problem w/ my 01 tib. I also sometimes havin trouble putting it into 1st and as far as reverse goes it acts like its there and it wont be. some times i have to put it into neutral and then push the cluth n again
