Default 4-1 vs 4-2-1 headers

what header is better for 2001/2.0L/automatic car. i have heard both sides of the argument but i want to know what you guys/girls think. and why?????????

i've done research, but anybody that knows cars, knows that the manufacurer says it will perform one way and it actually performs different than what they say. i just wanna know what people say who actually have them on their cars. but thank you.

4-1 headers give you more top-end. 4-2-1 headers give you a broader power gain. it depends on what you want and what your goals are. btw, don't waste your money on n/a upgrades for the beta, get a turbo. wink

thax kayjai. i have read the ones that apply and i have only one question. with the 4-2-1 headers. is it gonna match up when i bolt it on. and what is good for the exhaust. thinking of sr4-2-1 headers and obx exhaust?? will tha work?

yes, they are a direct bolt on. however, i would stay away from obx's products. i haven't heard good things about their exhaust, and the shift knob i got with their shifter is a pos. i have the mbrp exhaust, and i love it...great quality AND sound.
