Alright, so I got my Tibby running and was heading up a hill. Well, before the hill in the dip I shifted from 3rd to 4th at 4k rpm. As I got close to the top of the hill, the car hiccuped and the CEL came on. It was vibrating heavilly and sounds like a go-kart. We checked the plugs, one was white, and there was water in one wire, could this have done further damage? It still has the problem after we did that. This car was a salvage car, wrecked in Cincy on the DS. Still needs door and quarter-panel work. Help ASAP! My Birthday is on Sat. (Big 18! Oh yeah!) and I'd like to have my affordable dream car running proper.

tell us how many miles are on your Tibby, what mods do you have, what did you do recently to a Tibby, when was the last time you changed spark plugs?

Did you read that CEL? I know in Auto Zone they should read it for free.

Definitely check the CEL. Seems also like you also need to change your plugs and wires; from what happened to you on the hill I'd say it was misfiring..cause misfiring tends to happen under load.

I had a bad spark plug wire about a month ago (damn PRD's) It was the number 4, when It would sit there an idle it would miss, and when you would get on it, it would hiccup like a sum-b****.
