Default 2.5'' Custom Catback Finished!!!

Well, I got her done today.. I got a MagnaFlow 2.25 inlet3 outlet.. (PN 10808 I think)

Looks good.. Not too friggin huge.. She sounds PISSED. Haven't had any time to beat on her a little, but she feels stronger towards the top.. I will find out on Wednesday for sure.. (Track Night)
The guy was pretty cool.. He was surprised on how deep it sounded.. No rice whatsoever.. Got the whole thing done for 175 bucks.. I hate it for the guy that did it.. Those were some HELLA bad bends.. and DAMNIT our stock muffler is HUGE...

yeah the stock muffler is fuggin huge. gettin my dynomax race magnum exhaust done on friday 2.25" catback muffler has a 2.25" inlet and straightthrough it is a good 2.50-3" thent he tip is going to be the same size as stock

also i thought if you did the 2.5" cat back system you lose torque....lemme knwo if u dont then ill be going with the 2.5"

So you already have some "before times" to compare the new ones too? I'm really interested in the 2.5 also so I would like to know if it will hurt performance. Also, did you have a resonator installed in it also? I really want to keep the sound down. Do you still have 2 cats?

Thanks.

I do not have a resonator, and I have both cats still... Sounds REALLY pissed off.. REALLY REALLY REALLY Throuty.. Not Ricey AT ALL.. It breaks up a little at top end, but it is not Ricey by ANY means.. I have a 16.086 before I got it done.. I am going to hit the track tomorrow night to see what she does..

Thanks guys.. smile.gif

I had pulled off the Resonator.. And Changed plugs (AS IF that counts) That is it.. That was the last run I made without the GT cam... The only thing I had other that what was listed was the fact that it was a fairly cold night (about 60) and I had made a little "Ram-Air" out of some Flex foil stuff.. I made it go straight into the Airbox from the Ground.. Other than that, she was BONE dead stock.. Well, I have to get back to painting my interior now.. Thanks for the interest guys.. Wish me luck tomorrow at the Track!!

Late!
